Sealed bids will be accepted by the Oceana County Board of Road Commissioners, 3501 W. Polk Road, Hart, Michigan 49420 no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025 after which time they will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded for the following:

• Pavement Marking (see links below for details)
The Oceana County Road Commission is requesting quotes on Long Line Striping and Special Markings of Primary and Local roads, and of approximately 40-80 miles of chip sealed roads, and other roads that are resurfaced by paving. Maps will be provided for specific locations for chip sealed and project roads. Please refer to the spread sheets for the road miles with estimated paint quantities. Pay items will be by actual foot painted or by actual number of symbols painted. All Striping and Special Markings shall conform to the current MDOT Standard Specifications for construction for labor and materials. Skip Line length and spacing will conform to MDOT Standard Specifications unless otherwise specified. Centerline Consists of Solid Yellow, a combination of Solid Yellow/Skip Yellow, and Skip Yellow. Edge Line is solid white. Storage Lane Dividers are Solid Double Yellow on Left, and Solid White on right of Storage of Lane between Left Turn Lane and Driving Lane at intersections if necessary. Paint quantities will be paid by the lineal foot of actual paint.
Materials and Methods are to conform to current MDOT Standard Specifications. Striping is to be a minimum of 4 inches wide and a maximum of 4.25 inches wide. Contractor is responsible for all zoning (determining passing/no passing zones), or unless marked for passing/no passing zones. Contractor shall be MDOT pre qualified.
Daily logs are required to be sent to Austin Cribley preferably daily or in a reasonable amount of time. Any questions or concerns contact Austin Cribley through email or through phone at 231-220-6849.
Contract is a 1-year contract with the option to renew 2 times for a possible total of 3 years.

Road Projects that need to be striped after completion are not included in the miles they will be added on as we go. Totals may be subject to change throughout the term of the contract.
