INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Oceana County Board of Road Commissioners, 3501 W. Polk Road, Hart, Michigan 49420 no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025 after which time they will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded for the following:

ANNUAL SUPPLY BIDS

• Aggregates - processed sand & gravel
• Equipment rental
• Culverts and Wooden bridge decks
• Bituminous mixtures - hot & cold
• Brine

All bids are to be in sealed envelopes and plainly marked with the bid category and the name of the bidder. To mail a document using normal mail please include our P.O. Box 112, Hart, Michigan 49420. If you are mailing bid documents, we recommend FEDEX, UPS overnight letters, or USPS Priority Mail, as we have had some issues with slow normal mail.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any bids which, in the opinion of the Board, may be most advantageous and in the best interest of the County.

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Oceana County Road Commission, 3501 W. Polk Road, Hart, Michigan 49420 no later than Friday, February 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM, after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Snowplowing Services on roads in specified subdivisions in Oceana County for the 2025/2026 Winter Season

Specifications and bid documents may be obtained at the Road Commission offices during regular business hours or by visiting our website at www.oceanacrc.org or request bid documents from rcurtis@oceanacrc.org.

All bids are to be in sealed envelopes and plainly marked "SUBDIVISION SNOWPLOWING" and the name of the bidder.

The Oceana County Road Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.

The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids and to make award in any manner they deem to be in the best interest of Oceana County.
